1. Agreement to terms
Using Business Attendance means you agree to these Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you’re using the platform on behalf of a BNi Chapter, you’re confirming you have the authority to bind that chapter and its leadership team to these terms.
2. Description of service
Business Attendance is a web-based platform that helps BNi chapters run weekly attendance, automate meeting presentations and simplify leadership workflows. We provide the tools. We’re not affiliated with BNi Global, nor are we endorsed by or an official partner of BNi Global.
3. User accounts and responsibilities
- Account security: keep your login credentials private. Anything that happens under your account is your responsibility.
- Accuracy of information: users, especially Chapter Leaders, agree to keep member lists and meeting schedules accurate and up to date.
- Content ownership:you keep the rights to anything you upload (Spotlight presentations, logos, member bios). By uploading, you give Business Attendance a limited license to host and display that content for your chapter’s use.
4. Prohibited conduct
Users agree not to:
- Use the service for anything illegal or otherwise prohibited by these terms.
- Try to reverse-engineer, decompile or interfere with the platform’s infrastructure.
- Use the platform to send spam, run unauthorized ads or distribute malicious software.
- Impersonate someone, including BNi Global staff or other Chapter Leaders.
5. Subscription and payments
- Free tiers: at our discretion, a single chapter may use the platform for free.
- Paid features: some advanced features require a paid subscription. Fees are non-refundable unless we say otherwise.
- Pricing changes:we may change pricing with 30 days’ notice to existing users.
6. Limitation of liability
Business Attendance is provided on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis.
- We don’t guarantee the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
- Business Attendance isn’t liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages from using or being unable to use the service. That includes technical hiccups during a live meeting and any loss of data.
- Total liability for any claim is capped at what the user paid us (if anything) in the 12 months before the claim.
7. Intellectual property
The Business Attendance name, logo, software code and user interface designs belong to our company. You may not use our branding or intellectual property without our written consent.
8. Termination of service
We can suspend or end your access to the platform at any time, without notice, for conduct we believe violates these Terms or harms other users or our business.
9. Modifications to terms
We may update these Terms and Conditions. For meaningful changes, we’ll let you know by email or a notice in the dashboard. Continuing to use the platform after that means you accept the new terms.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Romania, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
